Muscat HAMBURG ROSE vineyards are located in Samtatskharo, unique zone of Kakheti. This natural Rose wine is made by traditional Rose Methodology. Manually picked and pressed ripe grapes, without stems, skin and seeds are put into qvevri for further fermentation and left there for up to ten days. Unfiltered wine, may contain sediment. Tasting Notes : red fruits, rose, lychee. This high acidity wine pairs nicely with cheese and sweat dishes.

The winery Rtoni was founded in 2017 in village Ruispiri of Kakheti region. The philosophy of the winery is the combination of the traditional winemaking techniques and the innovatory approach with the minimal intervention into the natural processes.

As to the varieties planted there: Georgian indigenous ones like Rkatsiteli, Kisi, Khikhvi, Saperavi, and the worldwide famous: Gewurztraminer, Muscat Hamburger and Sauvignon blanc. The vineyards are treated carefully, with the respect to the natural approach. Grapes ripen under the sun of Kakheti and are picked when reach full maturity. Thanks to the terroir, the grape takes the maximum from the sun and the soil. This is where from come the intensive flavors and the complex body of the wines of Rtoni.
