Goruli Mtsvane, popular Kartli variety of grapes. 100% Organic. 3 months in qvevri, 5 months in oak. Tones: dry apricot, ripe fig, overripe stone fruits. Balanced tannins, rich and buttery.
Located in the village of Bolnisi in Kartli region, Barbale Winery is one of the most promising and exciting wineries on the emerging Georgian wine scene. The winery was founded in 2016 and is now managed by enologist Berdia Berishvili. Traditional Georgian and European-style wines are produced here from native grapes from organically grown vineyards in the historic wine regions of Kartli and Kakheti.
