Peradze Saperavi is made from the Saperavi grape variety of the same name. Saperavi is a dry red wine produced using traditional vinification methods and aged for 9 months in oak barrels. The vines of the Peradze vineyard are located in the Kindzmarauli micro-zone in the Kakheti region. This micro-zone is known for its deep red semi-sweet wines, but Irakli Peradze has created a fantastic dry wine here with a beautiful balance of oak aging.
This stunning wine, with a beautiful deep dark-red color, has a fairly intense red fruit flavor and notes of blackberries. The wine can best be described as powerful and energetic. With a moderate acidity and soft tannins, winemaker Irakli Peradze has crafted a fantastic wine.
This wine pairs well with grilled meats, game, or a strong cheese. The bold flavor pairs perfectly with a sauce accompanying any meat dish.
